This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the RidePlanr mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

2. What RidePlanr Does
RidePlanr helps drivers identify potentially promising areas and time windows based on signals such as:

restaurant areas
hotel checkout areas
similar location-based planning signals
3. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:

settings and preferences you choose in the app
reminder choices and saved spots
subscription and entitlement state
support requests or emails you send us
RidePlanr currently does not require a user account to use the app.
B. Location information
If you allow location access, we collect and process your device location to:
find nearby airports, stations, events, and lifestyle areas
tailor map-based opportunities
calculate distances and timing
improve spot relevance
Depending on your device permissions and use, this may include precise location.
C. Device and app usage information
We may collect app usage and technical information such as:
app opens
screen views
tab selection
paywall views
trial claims
reminder actions
subscription purchase and restore events
app version
device type
operating system version
crash logs
diagnostics and non-fatal error events
D. Subscription and billing information
If you purchase a subscription, purchase processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We may receive limited subscription-related information such as:
entitlement status
active subscription product
trial status
purchase or restore state
We do not receive your full payment card information.
E. Third-party data used to generate app content
The app may query third-party services to provide recommendations, including services related to:
flight arrivals
train arrivals
public events
maps and venue discovery
weather
subscription infrastructure
analytics and crash reporting
These third-party services may receive technical request information such as IP address, general device/network data, location-based query parameters, and request metadata as needed to return results.

provide the Service and its core features
show nearby opportunities and time windows

save reminders and saved spots
send local device notifications you request
manage subscriptions, trials, and access levels

If you enable notifications, RidePlanr may schedule local notifications on your device, including reminders before a saved spot begins.
These notifications are generated on-device based on your app activity and preferences. You can disable notifications in your device settings or in the app where available.
7. Analytics and Crash Reporting
RidePlanr may use analytics and crash-reporting tools, including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, to understand app usage and diagnose technical issues.
These tools may collect:
app interaction events
device and app metadata
crash reports
non-fatal errors
performance and diagnostic data
We use this information to improve the Service, monitor reliability, and prioritize fixes.
8. Subscription Management
RidePlanr may use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, offerings, entitlements, and restore-purchase flows.
RevenueCat may process limited subscription-related information needed to determine whether you have access to paid features.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
9. Data Storage and Retention
Some app data is stored locally on your device, including:
saved spots
reminder choices
certain settings and preferences
onboarding completion state
local access-state persistence used by the app
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law or justified for security, dispute resolution, or compliance reasons.
Crash and analytics data may be retained by our service providers according to their own retention settings and policies.
10. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data.
